What is a Lightworker?
Lightworkers are individuals that see the positive in life and live with positive surrounding them. They use and send positive and loving energy to everyone they meet. We all have days that we need that extra attention and love. Lightworkers can change our day or our whole outlook with a kind, reassuring word and a simple smile.
Taking the time to just stop and listen to someone, even for a few minute by acknowledging them, make anyone feel like they have meaning. Giving them one of your smiles and watch it be returned is an amazing feeling and they are free and so simple to give.
I give you this challenge...
Find ways to change the day for one person, every day for a week. By the end of the week, I think you will find that as much positive you have given, you will have gotten it back as well and you might find that your outlook becomes more positive.
Have you ever gone to the grocery store and the clerk is distant, withdrawn and not smiling? They are just trying to get through their shift and go home and wallow in their misery. Have you ever tried to make it your priority to see that person smile before you leave? How about trying that the next time you go to your local grocery store, restaurant or where ever? See if you can get that person's day to change from being dull or having a bad day to them smiling and realizing it is not too bad, after all.
It not only benefits that person, but you get something out of it, too. You send your light and love out to them, just for a few minutes and made a difference. That is what a lightworker does... makes a difference.
