Coaches and Visionaries

Some times, we veer off the course we laid out in life and have the need for guidance from people who can give us tools to make better choices and re-direct us back on track so that we can become the people we are meant to be.

For those of you who are seeking coaches or visionaries, here are some good recommendations to consider.  They are here to assist with you questions to better understand who you are, what you are doing and where you are headed in your life.

If you feel that they can be of help, here are some who we feel can assist in a way that is unique and successful.

Why does it take such horrible circumstances for people to practice kindness?

With the recent tragic events in Haiti, I've been thinking about the beautiful way that people come together for the greater good. While it is inspiring and encouraging, I challenge you as a Superhero to practice this type of kindness on a daily basis.

What can you be doing differently to make someone smile and laugh? What can you do in your community to make it a better place to live? Who can you help today? How can you be of service? The best way to change the world we live is to change our inner world- this will enable us to change the world around us. While great acts should be celebrated, small acts of kindness that nobody hears about should also be celebrated.

Act out of kindness for yourself. While it may seem like a selfish idea, do it for a little soul food. When you've nourished yourself this way, you're more valuable to all those around you. And the best part- it spreads like wildfire- you'll notice that other people will "pass it on".

Random acts of kindness don't even need to be advertised. The highest spiritual act of kindness is the act that doesn't get any publicity. Do it with an attitude of complete service with no possible way of receiving a tangible result. Do it for the greater good, don't tell anyone and feel the way it makes your spirit sing.

Lastly, as we think of the people of Haiti, I'd like to make some suggestions. Watching the news over and over while we feel sorry for them won't do anything but add to the negative energy already flowing. Take some action- volunteer, send some money, but most importantly, think of the individuals affected in the most positive light possible. See them at their best; see them rebuilding their country; see the new opportunities that will be created; believe that the lives of those saved will somehow be improved. This will help- the positive energy will attract all sorts of miracles.

Be well,

Michael
